The Process

Did you know anything you create takes time? Creation costs time and all that you put forth.  I have spent years just making candles because I enjoy filling my home with fragrance.  Not just any fragrance - the right divine fragrance.

I liken it as walking into a store at the mall that feels the atmosphere with a fragrance of that certain scent.  The scent would linger from one store to the next.  Fresh and lingering yet not overpowering.

After many trials I have been graced by God in finding the scents that linger the minute you take the lid off without the candle being lit.

This is why with each candle I create, it's truly made with love and in thought of sharing with anyone.  I light the candle and think of the fragrance and the light gives way of Matthew 5:14 - You are the light of the world.  A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.  

Although here I am speaking of creating candles, it is also the light that it gives off.  It paves the way for not stumbling around in the dark.  So let your light shine - brightly and purposefully.  Light the candle, take in the fragrance, and as you do, remember you are the light that carries the Word of God everywhere you.
